Dealer Guarantee - Motor Dealers & Repairers ACT 2013.
For Used (second Hand Vehicles) driven for not more than 160,000 klms and not more than 10 years old before sale, a Motor Dealer must provide a Dealer Guarantee.
This Dealer Guarantee is offered for a limited period of 3 months or 5,000 klms driven since the sale of the vehicle.(whichever comes first)
This Guarantee does not cover incidental or accidental damage that occured after the sale, or missue/negligence or superficial damage to paintwork or upholstery.
This inforamtion will be provided on the delers Form 5 when you collect your vehicle.
Lancaster Motor Group offered "FREE" - AWG Used Car Maintenance Plan
This coverage starts after the used car statutory warranty finishes (5000 klms/3 months whichever occurs first) and goes for 12 months (from delivery) or up to 175,000 klms (which occurs first).
The AWG coverage overs owners for up to $2,000 worth of claims during the period of coverage, and a maximum of $1000 per claim.
To keep this coverage valid, the customer must service their vehicle with the dealership the vehicle was purchased from every 6 months or 10,000 klms. (If the vehicle is still under new vehicle warranty the vehicle is to be serviced as per the manufacturers handbooks up until the vehicle falls out of warranty, then to be serviced every 6 months / 10,000 klm’s (whichever occurs first).
